Godawari Power to consider fund raising proposal

Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on November 13, 2007, inter alia, to consider raising additional long term resources for the Company's present and future plans in the form issue of Convertible Warrants / Equity Shares through Preferential or Qualified Institutional Placements / GDR / FCCBs / Other Financial Instruments to promoters / non-promoters on preferential basis or otherwise, subject to such approvals, as may be required.
