Accel Transmatic Division Accel Animation Studios open motion capture studio in Trivandrum,

Accel Transmatic Ltd has announced that Accel Animation Studios, a division of the Company on November 05, 2007 announced a first-of-its-kind motion capture studio in Trivandrum, with the deployment of a motion capture equipment from Motion Analysis Corporation, U.S.

This will be the first animation studio in India to own a motion capture set up that uses motion analysis technique. The new facility has been installed at Kinfra Film and Video Par, Trivandrum. Motion Analysis Corporation has provided Accel with real-time full body, face and hands motion capture.

Accel aims to extend its service to the whole Animation, Gaming and VFX industry in India. With a 7,000 sq. ft. facility housing over 32 Eagle 4 cameras with wireless motion capture gloves. The motion capture studio has already started working on a full length animation features film using the new motion capture equipment.

The overall Accel Animation Studio facility in Trivandrum is an area of more than 20,000 sq.ft. equipped with the latest facilities. With nearly 100-networked high-end graphic workstations, well supported and dedicated render farms, in the infrastructure at Accel is comparable with some of the best animation studios in the world.
