Gujarat Ambuja Exports to expand Cotton Spinning Unit

Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd has announced that pursuant to decision of Board of Directors at its meeting held on September 09, 2006 approving expansion of Cotton Spinning Unit, the Company has placed order for 34 Ring Frame Machine with 1200 spindles in each machine and other plants and machineries such as Blow Room, Carding, Pre-combing DF, Lap Formers, Combers etc. for Rs 27.63 Crores (Ex-works) to M/s. Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd, Coimbatore. The Company has also paid advance against the said order. On execution and implementation of expansion of Cotton Spinning Unit, the capacity will increase by 40,800 spindles over and above existing capacity of 72,960 spindles.
