Alps Industries AGM approves 7.5% dividend

Alps Industries Ltd has announced that the members at the 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 28, 2006, inter alia, have approved the declaration of Dividend on Equity Shares @ 7.5%.
Enhancement in the borrowing powers under section 293(1)(d) of the Companies Act,1956 from Rs 400.00 Crores to Rs 700.00 Crores.

Granted for mortgaging the fixed assets of the company under section 293 (1)(a).
