Pondy Oxides Board to consider Bonus issue

Pondy Oxides & Chemicals Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 04, 2006, inter alia, to consider the following:

1. To Consider & approve the issue of Bonus shares to the equity shareholders.

2. To approve the purchase of land & building at Kakkalur Industrial Estate for setting up of Zinc Refining Plant.

3. To note & record the development in Lead Smelter & Compound Plant.
