NHPC Ltd to raise Rs. 2250 crores

The Board of Directors of NHPC Ltd in its meeting held on November 18, 2016 (commenced at 10.30 A.M and concluded at 01.45 P.M) has approved the proposal for raising of Rs. 2250 crore through issuance of "V" series corporate bonds on private placement basis which is out of Rs. 4500 crore already approved by the shareholders in their 40th Annual General Meeting held on September 22, 2016.

Shares of NHPC LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.26 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 25.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1105101 in over 2112 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 26.2 and intraday low of 25.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 28367857.
