Vijaya Bank approves Private Placement of Basel III Compliant Additional Tier I

Vijaya Bank intends to raise Tier 1 Capital through Private Placement of Basel III Complaint Additional Tier 1 Bonds of 10.00 lakhs each at par aggregating to Rs.750 Crore. The proposed Bonds Issue has been rated as "AA-" by CARE ratings and "AA-" by ICRA Ltd.

Shares of VIJAYA BANK was last trading in BSE at Rs.43.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 41.7. The total number of shares traded during the day was 204564 in over 1361 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 43.7 and intraday low of 38.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 8496041.
