HDFC to raise Rs. 500 crores through Rupee Denominated Bonds Issue

Pursuant to the approval of the Board of Directors of Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd at its meetings held previously, the Corporation is contemplating, subject to market conditions, undertaking the fourth issuance of Rupee Denominated Bonds to overseas investors.

The Issue Size will be up to Rs 500 Crore. The issue opening date is October 14, 2016 and the closing / pricing date is October 14, 2016.

The Bonds will be listed at London Stock Exchange.

The pricing and the tenure of the bonds to be issued pursuant to the said issue will be intimated in due course.

Shares of HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORP.LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1338.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1391.8. The total number of shares traded during the day was 87715 in over 3707 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1385 and intraday low of 1335. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 118260132.
