NTPC Ltd raises Rs. 800 crores

NTPC has raised Rs. 800 crore on August 23, 2016 through private placement of secured non-convertible debentures at a coupon of 7.58% p.a. with a door to door maturity of 10 years. The proceeds will be utilized to finance capital expenditure / refinancing the debt requirement in on-going projects including recoupment of expenditure already incurred.

Shares of NTPC LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.158.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 163.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 609938 in over 4615 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 164 and intraday low of 158.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 98264003.
