Zandu Pharmaceutical to acquire Zandu Chemicals Ltd

Zandu Pharmaceutical Works Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 23, 2006, has approved the proposal of acquiring share from the shareholders of Zandu Chemicals Ltd.

On implementation of the proposal, Zandu Chemicals Ltd will become the subsidiary of the Company.
