Technical issues at Jayaswal Neco's Steel Plant at Siltara, Raipur

Jayaswal Neco Industries Ltd's Blast Furnace at its Steel Plant Division, Siltara, Raipur has been facing technical issues for the last one month.

Consequently the Company is planning refractory gunning of its Blast Furnace from 23rd May, 2016 and its Blast Furnace is expected to be shut down. The operation shall be affected for about eight to ten days.

It would affect its Pig Iron production, Power generation and availability of Hot metal for Steel making during the relevant period.

Shares of JAYASWAL NECO INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.7.69 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 7.79. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12403 in over 26 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 8.15 and intraday low of 7.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 95385.
