Aarti Singh to don the role of a mother of 3 in &TV's Waaris

Aarti Singh, known for her character driven roles has been roped in for &TV's upcoming show Waaris. Set in Punjab, this show will see Aarti playing the character of Amba, a hard core Punjabi mother. In fact she will be seen as a mother of three children! However, this mother has kept a secret from the family that will change their lives forever. This deep dark secret, and a well kept one at that will divide the family or bring it together? From what we hear, the actress is quite kicked about the show which will see her yet again take up a strong character in a family set up.

Says the actress, "I am quite thrilled about the show and a little more about playing a Punjabi character. Punjabi's by nature are very vocal about their opinions and the ladies of the household have a very strong personality. In this show, you will see me playing the role of a mother. My look is also refreshing. The audience will get to see me as a boisterous Punjabi Kudi."

Waaris is slated to on air soon only on &TV.
