Emami Ltd allots 3000 Non-Convertible Debentures on Private Placement Basis

Emami Ltd has allotted 3000 (three thousand) unsecured Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of the face value of Rs. 10 Lakhs (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) each, aggregating to Rs. 300 Crores (Rupees Three Hundred Crores only) to DBS Bank Limited on private placement basis.

The above issue / allotment of NCDs are in terms of the approval granted by the shareholders at the 32nd Annual General Meeting of the Company held on August 05, 2015.

Further, the entire proceeds of the above NCD issue will be used to retire the short term debt including payment of Commercial papers.

Shares of EMAMI LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.990.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 993.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3636 in over 526 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 999.85 and intraday low of 984. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3604066.
