Simarpreet Singh Saluja, a student of FIITJEE, Punjabi bagh and a resident of West Delhi secured the TOP Spot from DELHI in the prestigious National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) in the results declared for Stage 1, 2016. NTSE is the country's oldest talent search exam conducted by NCERT. He scored 184 marks out of 200.
Belonging to a family of 4, Simarpreet's dream from an early childhood was to become a Computer Software Engineer. He started early by joining FIITJEE (Punjabi Bagh) Delhi centre in class VI. In his early preparation period he focussed a lot on development of IQ, Logical & Analytical Thinking. He was very pro-active in his approach towards learning new things which was further fuelled by the helpful and co-operative faculty at the FIITJEE Punjabi bagh centre. He intends to pursue Computer Science engineering from IIT Delhi.
When Simarpreet was asked, how he felt about this tremendous result, an elated Simarpreet said - "It feels great to be the Delhi City Topper, it's like a dream come true having achieved Rank 1 in NTSE, Stage 1. I did not expect that my rank would be this phenomenal. I just focussed on giving my best." Thanking his faculties at FIITJEE, Simarpreet further added "My faculties gave me the right direction & support and helped me to develop my skills quite early in my career".
Mr. Partha Haldar (Centre Head of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre) was also very excited and proud of his organization, which now has achieved quite a few remarkable milestones. He said - "Simarpreet earlier had cleared the prestigious JSTSE in class IX & Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) in class X. Over the years he has really transformed and had developed the right skills & competency to ace competitive exams at the highest level. He is earnestly chasing his dream of cracking IIT-JEE. I feel proud and hope to see him scaling newer heights in future".
