Patni Computer allots 50372 equity shares

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide circular resolution dated August 01, 2007 has allotted 50,372 equity shares of par value of Rs 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 25,186 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) to the foreign based employees pursuant to the exercise of ADR linked Options granted to them under the Company's Stock Option Plan.
