India's renowned singers of the khyal style of Indian classical music Pandit Rajan Mishra and Sajan Mishra spellbound the audience at India Habitat Centre's Hindustani Vocal Recital in collaboration with National Channel. Stein auditorium of IHC witnessed a large number of audience to hear Mishra brothers.
Along with Rajan Sajan, Ritesh and Rajnish Mishra (Son of Rajan Mishra) were also seen on the stage. Shubh Maharaj Tabla and Sumit Mishra in Harmonium were at the stage.
Rajan Mishra was born in the year 1951 and Sajan Mishra was born in the 1956 in the Varanasi. Their grandfather named Bade Ram Das ji Mishra and father named Hanuman Prasad Mishra, taught them the classical music. Their uncle named Gopal Prasad Mishra was a sarangi expert. In 1977, their family had shifted to the Ramesh Nagar in Delhi and started to live there. They are awarded with the Padma Bhushan in 2007, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1998, Gandharwa National Award for in 1994-1995 and awarded with the esteemed National Tansen Samman for 2011-12 at 14th December 2012.
