Telangana Academy of Skills and Knowledge (TASK), a non-profit organization created by the Government of Telangana joined hands with TalentSprint, India's leading Career Accelerator for Youth. As part of the partnership, TalentSprint and TASK will jointly focus on using digital skill development strategies to enhance the standing of Telangana as one of the most desired destinations for talent acquisition in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sujiv Nair, CEO of TASK, said, "With this new approach, we can break the limitations of time, classrooms, device and location. The digital medium is available and accessible to all, anytime and anywhere, on all devices including computers, phones, and tablets. This partnership pilot will initially cover 2000 students across 10 districts".
This partnership is one-of-its-kind, as, unlike traditional approaches, the goal is to use online platforms and virtual classrooms to maximize reach and minimize costs involved in training graduates. TalentSprint with its expert faculty will deliver digital course content in easy-to-understand format, including online assessments and embedded learning videos. TalentSprint will work with TASK to fast-track its vision of making Telangana a frontrunner in having a skilled and specialized workforce and positioning itself as the most sought after destination for job-ready talent.
Dr. Santanu Paul, MD and CEO of TalentSprint added, "We are delighted to be selected by TASK for this high innovation engagement, and we will bring our expertise in tech-led skill development to fully bear on this challenge. This pioneering initiative by TASK, powered by our digital delivery platform, should ultimately scale up to handle the needs of 50,000 youth across the entire state of Telangana, and create tremendous value for graduates, colleges, and industry".
