Rolling frames film society hosted one of India's biggest international film summits, Rolling Frames Film International Film Summit, 2015. The two-day international film summit showcased an array of short films and documentaries, hosted art exhibition, seminars, master classes, pitching forums and award ceremonies with magnificent grandeur and splendour at Manpho Convention Centre in Bangalore.
In its third edition, Rolling Frames Film Society added a new category for short films and documentaries on social issues and causes, with this year's focus being on mental health issues. The summit also focused on providing a learning experience for short filmmakers in their journey towards becoming feature length filmmakers and helping them to fine-tune their art.
Speaking on the occasion, Swapna Jare, Country Head-UK Rolling Frames Film Society said "Rolling Frames Film Summit is a great platform for aspiring filmmakers to interact with and learn from established filmmakers from the industry. The overwhelming response that we have been receiving over the years has always motivated us to make each edition better and bigger than the previous one. Following on from the success and feedback from this year's event, we would also like to announce the Rolling Frames Touring Fest, the first of its kind tour where we intend to take this International Summit across various cities in India."

In addition to seminars conducted by the leading personalities from the film fraternity, various short films were also showcased at the International film summit, some of which were nominated by the BAFTA such as 'I'm Fine Thanks', 'Here To Fall', 'Tumult', 'The Voorman Problem', 'The Curse', 'The Making of Longbird' & 'Good Night'.
This edition also introduced a new initiative 'Pitching Forum', through which jury members selected some of the potential film makers and will be funding their future projects.

Speaking at the venue, Mr Asif Iqbal, Honorary Consul, The Consulate of Republic of Suriname said, "We have noticed a lot of interest shown in Indian films by the citizens at Suriname in South America due to various reasons such as the socio-economic conditions, subjects showcased in the movies and similar culture followed by both the countries. We strongly believe that Rolling Frames Film Summit has the potential to create a strong bond and highlight these similarities witnessed between these two countries."
