Cambridge English has launched an online / mobile app - the Cambridge English India Network. And to commemorate Teachers day, a special competition for English teachers - 'English in the Classroom' is being launched on September 5.
The app provides a platform for educators to connect with one another, view and share resources and essentially be a networking platform. The platform offers a managed network to enable seamless flow of information and becomes a repository of all the past communication and learning resources that can retrieved and reused with convenience. English teachers from schools as well as colleges are members of this networking app where they can connect with each other, share their ideas and opinions.
The networking platform can be accessed by registering online at www.cambridgeenglish.org/in/teachers-competition as well as through invitation on the Android and iOS mobile app.
The app is another step to enable educators to leverage technology to have access to curated resources and a qualified peer network. Ms. Angela French, Director of Operations, South Asia, Cambridge English Language Assessment said "Language teachers in India have always been very enthusiastic about professional development, and our new platform gives them a great opportunity to pool their knowledge and expertise. We continually aim to provide support for our teachers and this app is an invaluable communication network that enables us to reach out to them with utmost ease and stay connected."
As the use of mobile technology is increasing, Cambridge English India Network app offers teachers the opportunity to network with likeminded peers through their mobile devices to view, share resources as well as explore the repository of resources offered by Cambridge English that can help in their classroom activities. Cambridge English India Network has launched this application in collaboration with Concept I Connect.
