Gokak Textiles Ltd to issue NCNCRPS

The Board of Directors of Gokak Textiles Ltd at its meeting held on July 28, 2015, has decided to issue Non-cumulative, Non-convertible, Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs.10/- each, aggregating to Rs.20 Crores on Private Placement Basis to the Promoter/Promoter Group, subject to the approval of the shareholders by way of Special Resolution and to convene an Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the shareholders of the Company for this purpose. It was decided not to seek listing of the proposed issue of Preference Shares.

Shares of GOKAK TEXTILES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.59 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 56.6. The total number of shares traded during the day was 87 in over 19 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 62.5 and intraday low of 54.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5184.
