Merittrac on World Youth Skill Day

MeritTrac, India's largest skill assessment company, has been supporting over 400 organizations assessing Knowledge, Skills, Ability and Personality. We have been helping organizations assess fresh graduates from academic institutions administering pre-recruitment tests. This vast experience of working with the demand side and supply side of talent has given us insights about the expectations and availability of talent in India.

The employability figures have always remained at the 20% mark since then. Our commitment to this cause has led us to develop various Employability enhancement and certification programs in the last couple of years."

Graduate Employability Assessment - an employability enhancement program targeted at graduate and post graduate colleges is a holistic test - abilities, skills and personality - of talent. The program that is led by 3 assessment interventions - diagnostic, review and employability - that will help graduates systematically evaluate their strengths, weakness and areas of improvement to work on it for further improvement. Their employability will also be benchmarked against the standard industry norms. This will help candidates steadily improve their skills to be industry ready by the time they graduate.

Software Developer Examination (SDE): Yet another program introduced in India by MeritTrac is Proxor's Software Developer Examination (SDE). The assessment and certification of software development talent that was first developed and used by the Carnegie Mellon University, world's leading institution for computer science education, is a performance based assessment of software development ability. Aspiring software developers can take up the Proxor's SDE to understand their strengths and areas of improvement and certify their software development skills. Backed by a trusted body, the certification will act as a reliable validation of skills for leading IT companies for hiring and career development.
