Anjani Portland Cement Ltd Board approves Right Issue worth Rs. 75 crores

The Board of Directors of Anjani Portland Cement Ltd at its meeting held on April 29, 2015, have considered and approved the proposal of offering Equity Shares on Rights basis for the value not exceeding Rs. 75.00 Crores.

The Board approved proposal to constitute a "Rights Committee" to comply with the procedural and the statutory requirements in relation to the Rights Offer. The said committee was also authorized to decide, besides other things, the Ratio at which the Offer is to be made and the premium for the offer.

The Board also approved taking on record the resignation of Mr. B.Ramesh, Director of the Company.

Shares of ANJANI PORTLAND CEMENT LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.102.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 110.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3543 in over 93 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 112.9 and intraday low of 100. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 376080.
