Ashoka Buildcon Ltd allots 28441411 shares through QIP

The QIP Committee of Ashoka Buildcon Ltd at its meeting held on April 22, 2015, approved the issue and allotment of 2,84,41,411 Equity Shares of face value Rs. 5 each to eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) at the issue price of Rs. 175.80 per Equity Share, aggregating approximately Rs. 500.00 Cr.

Further, the Paid-up Capital of the Company increased from Rs. 7931.33 Lakhs to Rs. 9353.40 Lakhs divided into 187,068,034 equity shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid.

Shares of ASHOKA BUILDCON LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.189.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 188.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 89148 in over 3675 trades.
