MRPL AGM approves 7% dividend

Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has announced that the shareholders at the 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 16, 2006, have approved all the items contained in the Notice of the meeting including the payment of dividend at the rate of 7 per cent on the equity share capital (Re 0.70 per equity share) and 0.01 per cent on the 0.01% preference share capital.
