Regus, the global workplace provider, continues its pan India expansion adding over 10 locations to its national network in the last two months. This expansion is an indication of the tremendous demand for alternate, smarter workspaces in the country. The new state-of-the-art Regus business centres have been launched not just in key cities but also in Tier II markets.
Regus launched one centre in Pune earlier this month, and has added three more in Mumbai too. Additionally, three more centres have been launched in Bangalore followed by the opening of their first business centre in Lucknow. The company has also opened three centres in Delhi and Noida. Regus' growing, unparalleled network of flexible workspaces will now enable firms in the country and from outside to give their staff better, smarter options irrespective of where they are!
Speaking about the expansion plans for the country, Harsh Lambah – Country Manager for Regus India, said, "This is a big year for Regus in India with ambitious strategic expansion plans for the country. Our specialised workspaces have proven beneficial not just to the large MNCs but also to smaller start ups. This year, our focus will be on fast growing markets across India with huge untapped potential. We have observed a growing demand for flexible office spaces especially in the developing Tier II locations and we believe this demand will be the key to our growth in India."
According to a recent survey by Regus, an overwhelming 73% of the Indian respondents listed traffic jams and long commutes as a major hindrance to their productivity. The ever growing Regus network offers organisations and business workers instant access to professional facilities in India and overseas and a scalable workspace with no upfront capital or expensive long-term lease. This helps alleviate the difficulties that Indian organisations and workers face while meeting targets and deadlines. The survey also indicates that Indian organisations are gradually adopting flexible work spaces and work hours as opposed to fixed workplaces and hours in the interests of productivity and growth. All of these factors have played an important role in Regus' expansion strategy.
