Sachin crosses 5 mn followers mark on Twitter, Virat Kohli still on top

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar @sachin_rt crossed the 5 million followers mark on Twitter. Sachin's fan following continues to grow even after his retirement from international cricket. Sachin is only the second cricketer after Virat Kohli (@imvkohli) to reach this milestone. With a narrow difference between the number of followers, it remains to be seen if and how soon the Master overtakes Virat to reclaim the top spot amongst cricketers on Twitter.

Virat Kohli (@imvkohli) is the top ranked cricketer with 5359129 followers as on February 3, 2015. Sachin Tendulkar (@sachin_rt) is the second ranked cricketer with 5021667 followers in Twitter.

MS Dhoni (@msdhoni) occupies the third spot with 3475514 followers, Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) is at 4th position with 3327920 followers and Yuvraj Singh (@yuvstrong12) is at the fifth position with 2830629 followers.
