Mahavir Spinning declares 40% dividend

Mahavir Spinning Mills Ltd has announced that the members at the 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on August 26, 2006, inter alia, have approved the declaration of Dividend @ 40% of the Company for the 2005-06 on the paid-up Equity Capital of the Company.

Subject to the approval of the Central Government, the name of the Company is changed from "Mahavir Spinning Mills Ltd" to "Vardhman Textiles Ltd".
