Ambuja Cement Eastern equity shareholders & creditors approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Ambuja Cement Eastern Ltd has announced that the members, Secured & Unsecured Creditors at the Court administered meetings held on September 13, 2006, have approved the amalgamation of the company with Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd, with requisite majority.

Further the Company has informed that the Company will be submitting its application to Hon'ble High Court for approval of the Scheme of Amalgamation in due course.
