At an attempt to reduce the winter gloominess and spread smiles, Investors Clinic, a leading real estate firm carried out a donation drive for the homeless in Delhi-NCR. The drive was targeted at accepting woolens, blankets and food items for underprivileged, who cannot afford the basic food and cloth supplies and die due to the harsh weather conditions every year.
The Donation Drive was divided in two phases where the first phase included the collection of all the commodities from Investors Clinic employees as well as from those willing to donate from all around Delhi and nearby areas, and the second phase involved the distribution of the necessities to the needy. More than 250 locations alone in Delhi-NCR, were targeted, where volunteers were deployed for donations and distribution of the supplies. The CEO of Investors Clinic, Mr. Honey Katiyal, volunteered himself for the drive. In his words, "Investors Clinic has always believed in the idea of decent living for all, and the distribution of warm clothes and blankets, and food is the best way to put our belief into practice. We aimed at making Delhi heavier by 10,000 kgs, and I am glad that the drive was a success. I thank everyone who donated and participated in this noble cause, we plan to work on similar projects in the future to spread warmth among people."
The Donation Drive was quite a success and more than 200 cars were flagged off from the corporate office premises for the distribution of the necessities to the underprivileged and needy, dying every year from the biting cold weather. Investors' Clinic vouches for a better standard of living for all and has promotes the idea through its CSR arm "Shubh-Aarambh".
