WOODLAND launches series of products with innovative technology

Woodland, the leading outdoor adventure brand, has launched a series of products with innovative technology. The series includes the 'Superlight', 'Heat Lock' and 'Storm Breaker' technologies in Jackets. Designed at Woodland innovation Lab, the technologies comes with features and fabrics imagined, tested and perfected in the wild.

Woodland Innovation Lab purely focuses on bringing breakthrough ideas forward with lot of research and actual testing with adventure enthusiasts. We usually work with professionals who are continually exposed to the harshest elements, whether they're climatological or about impact control, making them the ultimate product testers. Basically, we look at real-world extreme demands and their kind of feedback enables us to develop best possible product. This allows gathering deep insight and cannot be mined in any other way. These strategies are aligned with product development and design process.

Active Insulation. That's the USP of the SUPERLIGHT jacket. The combination of fabrics include the super-breathable open woven mesh interior lining and continuous filament Hi-Loft Insulation, and the breathable but weather resistant soft shell face fabric. The three work together to create an insulating layer that is incredibly permeable to escaping moisture vapor. The shell is made with 100 percent stretch nylon with an air permeability of 6 CFM. This allows for air circulation, while still blocking most of the wind. The lining, however, has a whopping air permeability of 91 CFM. This means that air can really circulate within the jacket, and that moisture can pass freely into the insulation and out through the shell. Along with the construction and the fabrics, the Superlight's Hi-Loft Insulation uses long strands of filament, which are interlocked.

Whether maintaining a comfortable temperature on the ascent, or trapping warm air while at rest, the Superlight fabric is the chameleon of cold-weather outdoor activities- which delivers - a superior degree of warmth, flexibility and softness.

Built specifically for cold weather activities, HEAT LOCK Jacket has an active fit for active outdoor sports. The Heat Lock technology designed with air chambers to trap your body heat and procreate it back to you, keeping you warm without much weight. It regulates the body temperature and boost up the retained body heat by 20% and dissipates excess body heat generated. The heat insulation remains the same even after numerous washes. Highly breathable and durable, this range is quick to dry so you can enjoy in the snow without getting a nasty cold!

STORM BREAKER, a multi-functional jacket, provides protection against all severe weather conditions. Made up of highly concentrated woven fabric, this multilayered jacket consists of a top layer made of a water based PU membrane. The middle layer is made of a breathable membrane that provides excellent moisture and air permeability, while blocking the wind to prevent chill. The inner lining comprises of fleece that provides excellent heat insulation.
