Cognizant Named a Leader in Business Intelligence Services by Independent Research Firm

Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) was named a "Leader" in the "The Forrester Waveâ„¢: BI Service Providers, Q4 2014," (October 2014) by Forrester Research, Inc. The report evaluated 12 large global BI service providers and evaluated and scored them on the basis of a comprehensive methodology across 30 criteria relating to current offering, strategy, and market presence.
The Forrester report identified Cognizant as one of the "Leaders of the pack," and noted: "In this evaluation, Cognizant received top scores for its delivery capabilities and strategic investments the firm made in business intelligence, such as a number of non-client-facing business intelligence R&D resources, among others. Cognizant also received high scores for its expertise across geographies and industries (specifically in financial services, healthcare, life sciences, insurance, retail, and business and consumer services), and broad technology partnerships."
The report also stated that, "Cognizant's thought leadership is characterized by its development of its "Code Halo" research, which it is using directly in client engagements."
