Tapping a cumulative workforce of nearly 5 million people working in 5000 factories of corporates across India, iClinic Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is making onsite specialist healthcare a reality in upcountry India and what could be a better acknowledgement than heartwarming testimonials from patients, recognizing the efforts of the iClinic team and expressing their sincere gratitude.
iClinic was conceptualized and founded jointly by Mr. Sanjoy Mukerji, Ex-Chief Commercial Officer of Vodafone India and Mr. Varun Berry, Managing Director, Britannia Industries Ltd to make quality healthcare accessible to that unaddressed 20 million of the Indian population who are suffering in tier 2,tier 3 cities and in dire need of credible medical assistance.
In the last few months, iClinic Healthcare has tied up with corporate organizations like Vodafone, Aircel and Jubilant to set up diagnostic units in their offices, guest houses and factories in Ranchi, Guwahati and Gajraula for the benefit of their employees and families. iClinic is reaching a total ecosystem of 20 million family members of workers in upcountry factories who do not have access to good healthcare and that too at nearly 0 cost. They plan to aggressively foray into 20 towns in the next 2 months.
In these specialist onsite factory units, a patient may consult a specialist in a metro, over the web, with prior appointment, with a local doctor sitting by their side and share their reports over the platform and get a written consultation summary from the specialist. The local doctor will do a physical examination for the patient, help with uploading the reports & communicating with the specialist and issue a prescription. Hence the consult, while over the web, is complete in all respects. Follow up consults to share diagnostic reports are also possible.

We will use the fresh equity to rapidly expand our operations to most of the potential 1000 towns in India that have broadband and 3G and to thousands of factories & offices in upcountry towns who would like to extend this benefit for their workers and staff and their families. Quite simply, we can enable patients in these upcountry areas to access specialist doctors anywhere - and consult them online using broadband.
