Amazon recruits student from LMNIIT, Institute confers degree certificates of 8th Batch of Engineering Students

One of the globally recognized institutions, offering excellence in the field of Information Technology, The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) conferred its 8th Batch of Engineering Graduates today. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Aroon Raman, well renowned Author, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur. The LNMIIT awarded 340 students with B.Tech and M.Tech degrees.

On this occasion, Dr. S.S Gokhale, Director of LNMIIT said, "We at The LNMIIT have constantly strived to provide quality education and excellence in the field of Information Technology. We take pride in saying that our students undergo rigorous academic training in the field of technical education and gather practical experience through Industrial exposures. Our institution provides the best in class infrastructure and academic collaboration with the leading academic and industrial organizations. We believe in providing exposure to top technologies, which is why we have invested over Rs. 1 crore in the past one year to have added equipment's in co-branded labs such as National Instruments, Texas Instruments, IBM, HPC Lab and Microsoft."

The LNMIIT has various organizations visiting the campus facility for placement offers such as TCS, Cognizant, Samsung, Microsoft, Amazon, The Indian Armed Forces etc. 96% of the students were able to secure placement offers before graduating. Additionally 20 students are pursuing higher studies out of which 12 students are at various IIM's.

Dr. S.S Gokhale also said, "Our association with various industries and organizations has become strong over the years that have been recruiting our students who possess industrial exposure and strong technical knowledge. We also take pride that many of our students today are serving the nation and are a part of the Indian Armed Forces. Apart from this, we have many foreign universities who have shown keen interest in having academic and research collaborations with our institute where we have sent our students for exchange programs."

Concluding the convocation with his inspiring speech, Mr. Aroon Raman, Author, Philanthropist, Entrepreneur and the Chief Guest at the convocation ceremony shared his experience and a piece of advice for the students, he said, "My education came to me from people of all walks of life. I have also implemented many learning's in my business all the time from people who are not very well educated. Earlier, the choices we had were extremely stark, other than the ones offered to the students today are extremely complex. Hence, I would like to share a few principles that might serve to be effective in your lives."

"One must think independently and not linear. Listen to your inner voice and spend time alone. Reflect on the question what is not excellence and see what is it that I am doing is not excellent- Keep your critics close to you and the last one, keep an open mind." He concluded his speech by wishing all the students a bright future and wishing all of them luck.
