Tata Power Company Ltd approves issue of NCDs

The Board of Directors of Tata Power Company Ltd at its meeting held on October 13, 2014, has approved the issue of non-cumulative, redeemable, listed, rated non-convertible debentures ("NCDs"), not exceeding an aggregate limit of Rs. 3,700 crore on private placement basis. The NCDs may be issued by the Company in one or more tranches and may be unsecured or secured by creation of charge over the assets of the Company.

Shares of TATA POWER CO.LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.85.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 82.7. The total number of shares traded during the day was 399159 in over 3580 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 85.35 and intraday low of 81.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 33413582.
