Novopan Industries equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Arrangement

Novopan Industries Ltd has announced that pursuant to the order of Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, a meeting of the equity shareholders of the Company will be held on September 29, 2006, for purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the proposed scheme of arrangement between M/s. GVK Petrochemicals Pvt Ltd and M/s. GVK Novopan Industries Pvt Ltd with the Company and amalgamation of M/s. Novofurniture Pvt Ltd with the Company and their respective shareholders.
