Fisher & Paykel Appliances Hosts a Gourmet Soiree with Celebrity Chef Manish Mehrotra

Fisher & Paykel, the New Zealand based innovative leader in luxury kitchen appliances hosted a soiree at The Hyatt Regency in Ludhiana, last evening. Celebrity Chef Manish Mehrotra, who heads the kitchens in one of the world's top 50 best restaurants – Indian Accent, took the guests through a live demonstration of his signature dishes in the Fisher & Paykel Social Kitchen. He talked the crowd through panko crusted bharwan mirch with a goat cheese mousse and chilli aam papad chutney; baked amritsari machhi, masala butter and white bait papad; and at the very end a silken tofu kofta with a kerala moile curry. Acknowledged as the most exciting Indian fusion cuisine chef in the world today, Chef Manish engaged the guests with his exciting show demo.

Held in association with The Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, the event also gave a chance to the guests to enjoy authentic New Zealand Lamb cooked to perfection, along with innovative cocktails that paired various liquors and liqueurs for those who attended the affair. The spectacular gourmet cuisine also included suckling pig, roast chicken and a variety of exotic dishes. The New Zealand Trade Commissioner, Mr. Richard White, was present at the event to lend his support to the brand, its heritage and 80 years of pioneering technology in the home space. Guests at the event included reputed businessmen & industrialists, leading architects, designers and others including renowned artist-Pinky Bindra, Gaurav Sarup of Marshall Machines, Preet Chandoke from the foodologists group, Sunil Auluck- MD, Luxmi Sewing Machines and Neeraj Arya – MD, Different Garments Pvt Ltd.
