Pfizer announces Q2 net profit of Rs.257.76 crores

Pfizer Ltd has announced the Unaudited financial results for the quarter ended May 31, 2007. The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 2577.60 million for the quarter ended May 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 358.90 million for the quarter ended May 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise & sales tax) has increased from Rs 1897.90 million for the quarter ended May 31, 2006 to Rs 4557.50 million for the quarter ended May 31, 2007.

The stock was trading at Rs.828, up by Rs.17.50 or 2.16%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.840 and low of Rs.808. The total traded quantity was 88744 compared to 2 week average of 21154.
