Transpek Industry Board recommends 15% dividend

Transpek Industry Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 22, 2007, inter alia, has recommended Dividend at the rate of 15% (i.e. Rs 1.50 per equity share) for the year ended March 31, 2007, subject to the approval of Shareholders at the ensuing 41st Annual General Meeting.

The Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from August 30, 2007 to September 07, 2007 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend.

The stock was trading at Rs.64.60, up by Rs.0.60 or 0.94%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.66 and low of Rs.64.10. The total traded quantity was 1515 compared to 2 week average of 7589.
