GE Shipping subsidiary GIL contracts to buy a modern Platform Supply Vessel

Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (GE Shipping) has announced that Greatship (India) Ltd (GIL) a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has contracted to acquire a 2005 built Platform Supply Vessel (PSV). The vessel is expected to join the Company's fleet in Q2FY 2007-08.

This brings the current order book of GIL including the secondhand acquisitions to 6 OSVs - 4 new buildings (2 PSVs and 2 AHTSVs) and 2 secondhand modern PSVs.
