Jet Airways clarifies settlement rumours are speculations

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Jet flies high on Settlement rumours", Jet Airways India Ltd has clarified to BSE that the contents of the Press Report are mere speculations on the part of the correspondent.

Further the Company has informed that after due and detailed deliberation, the Company came to the decision that it would not be appropriate to refute the Press Report since the headline given to the report itself clearly stated that the news about settlement were "rumours". Hence, the matter was not taken up with the Editor of the leading financial daily.
