Kohinoor Broadcasting files civil suit against Opal Industries

Kohinoor Broadcasting Corporation Ltd has announced about the Follow-up Action on the Decisions taken by the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 28, 2006, done as under:

1. The Company has got inspection of records of M/s. Opal Industries Ltd in respect of the Directorships at the office of Registrar of Companies.

2. The Company has obtained the opinion of the Company Secretary regarding the issue of Group Company. The Company has been advised that KBCL does not fall within the category of the group Company of M/s Opal Industries Ltd.

3. That as per the advice of the legal advisors of the Company, the Company has filed a civil suit at Civil Courts at Patiala against M/s. Opal industries Ltd and its Directors.
