Godawari Power Re-start of Production of Sponge Iron & Power

With reference to the earlier announcement regarding Break-down in Sponge Iron Plant dated August 17, 2006, Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd has informed BSE that the repairing work of the Company's 500 TPD sponge iron kiln has been completed and the production of sponge iron has since been restarted in the 500 TPD sponge iron kiln as well as power plant of the Company. The production of sponge iron and generation of power is expected to become normal within a weeks time.
