Hikal declares 65% dividend

Hikal Ltd has announced that the members at the 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on August 23, 2006, inter alia, have approved the Payment of Dividend @ 7% on Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs 100/- each for the year ended March 31, 2006 on pro-rata basis and Declaration of Dividend at the rate of Rs 6.50 per equity share (including Rs 3.00 per equity share as declared as interim dividend by the Board of Directors of the Company for the year 2005-06) for the year ended March 31, 2006.
