MindTree Consulting announces strategic alliance with Borland Software India Pvt Ltd

MindTree Consulting Ltd on June 20, 2007 has announced its strategic alliance with Borland Software India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Borland Software Corporation, the global leader in Open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), to launch state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence (CoE) in India. As part of this alliance, the Company and Borland will jointly set up the next generation software testing CoE lab at the Company's development center in Bangalore.

The CoE will serve as a technology incubation hub and provide training, evaluation software, online learning, technical seminars and solution demonstration to Testing professionals at the Company. It will be fully operational by June 30, 2007.

The Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, IT Services, Krishnakumar Natarajan said, "The Borland Testing CoE at MindTree development center in Bangalore will help our customers rely on industry leading solutions for their performance testing and test automation needs."

The Company provides Independent Testing Solutions to its IT Services and R&D Services customers. The solutions include Test Strategy Consulting, Functional Testing, Test Automation and Performance Testing. The combination of frameworks, industry leading tools & infrastructure and domain-experienced professionals has helped our customers reduce time to market and drive higher quality the Company's Testing Practice has set up dedicated offshore Testing CoEs for many of its customers.
