Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon appoints Amit Dash as Executive Chef

Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon is pleased to announce the appointment of Amit Dash as the new Executive Chef. Amit is a food connoisseur with vast experience in the industry. In his current role, he will be heading all the culinary operations of the hotel and will also be responsible for launching the new banquet menu.

Amit Dash, with a rich experience of more than a decade brings extensive culinary knowledge to the Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon kitchens. His expertise emphasizing on freshness of the Indian Cuisine is his passion and his team is excited to be guided by him.

Speaking on the appointment, Kanika Hasrat, General Manager Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon said, "We are delighted to welcome Amit with his treasure of culinary know-how and passion to Gurgaon. We look forward to great meals, stylish buffets, excellent entertainment and a treasure of secret recipes."

With an eye for the finest ingredients, highest quality local produce, his specialty lies in Indian and Awadhi cuisine. Amit is also a keen strategist with a flair for designing and implementing innovative food trends.

In his personal time he loves playing badminton and spending quality time with his family. A travel enthusiast, Amit believes in living life in the moment and enjoys short sojourns whenever he can.

Having been associated with the Marriott family for over 4 years and in keeping with Marriott's legacy of growth Amit has moved from the Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai. His earlier experiences include a stint at Courtyard by Marriott, Taj Connemara and ITC Hotel Park Sheraton Towers at Chennai.
