Webel-Sl Energy Systems Ltd has announced that the Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an important PV cells manufacturing Company in Europe. According to this MoU and based on the Semi-Conductor policy recently announced by the Government of India, the parties intend to study and assess the feasibility of possibly setting up in India (West Bengal) a production unit of wafers and solar cells with an installed capacity of 100 MWp, that could be expanded up to 200 MWp. Depending on the results of this study and subject to the respective Boards' decisions, the parties intend to possibly create a joint-venture to build up and operate the new plant.
The stock was trading at Rs.460, down by Rs.6.80 or 1.46%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.460 and low of Rs.453. The total traded quantity was 4001 compared to 2 week average of 82309.
