3i Infotech to raise funds

3i Infotech Ltd has announced that pursuant to authorization received from the shareholders in March 2007 to issue further securities in the form of equity / equity linked securities subject to a maximum of 20 million equity shares, the Company intends to raise funds through equity / equity linked securities and has appointed Lehman Brothers to explore the possibilities of doing so.

The stock was trading at Rs.311.90, up by Rs.5.70 or 1.86%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.314 and low of Rs.305. The total traded quantity was 199906 compared to 2 week average of 381328.
