Volatility Index fell by 4.18% - Microsec

Nifty moved in a narrow range of 6265-6300 on Tuesday on relatively lower volumes. The index is likely to remain lackluster in the next few trading sessions and move between 6200-6400.

Nifty Call options of strike 6300 added open interest by 25,493 lots while Nifty Put options of strike 6250 had a build up of 9,491 lots.

Nifty December Put Call ratio (OI) stands at 1.29 with the total open interest in Call options at 721,128 lots and that in Put options at 928,234 lots.

Dabur India, Glenmark Pharma, Jain Irrigation and NTPC Ltd appear strong while Cipla Ltd, Colgate Palmolive, Havells India, Sesa Sterlite, Sun Pharma and Tata Motors appear relatively weak.

Volatility Index fell by 4.18% from 16.26 to 15.58.
