              Indian equities ended tad higher on Monday led by realty, metal and capital goods sector.
Nifty closed at 6284.50 up by 10.25 points or 0.16percent over the previous day closing of 6274.25 after witnessing a low of 6266.95 and a high of 6317.50. Sensex closed at 21101.03 up by 21.31 points or 0.10percent over the previous day closing of 21079.72. It touched an intraday low of 21059.12 and high of 21207.89.
The markets' breadth was positive. Out of 2682 stocks traded 1594 stocks advanced, 918 stocks declined and 170 stocks rem ained unchanged. In Sensex, Out of 30 stocks 21 stocks advanced and 09 stocks declined.
Among the sectors, BSE Realty, BSE Metal and BSE Capital Goods Gas were the main losers of the day which decreased by 3.16percent, 1.52percent and 1.30percent respectively.
In BSE Realty sector, HDIL, Oberoi Realty and DLF increased by 7.76percent,4.47percent and 4.36 percent respectively. In BSE Metal sector Jindal Steel., Hindalco Inds and JSW Steel advanced by 5.49percent,3.69percent and 2.59percent respectively. In BSE Capital Goods sector Jindal Saw, Welcorp and Sadbhav Engr increased by 8.60percent, 8.60 percent and 5.20percent respectively.
