              Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ: VRTU) has appointed Vinay Mehta as vice president in its Communications and Content Delivery practice. Mehta will be responsible for expanding Virtusa's already strong client presence in this vertical with a focus on North America. In addition, he will build a global solutions practice in Billing, leveraging his prior expertise with Convergys (now a part of Netcracker).

Mehta brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the communications industry, with an extremely successful track record of leveraging technology, robust processes and innovative business models to support Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and Multiple Service Operators (MSOs). Before joining Virtusa, Vinay was CIO at Paycor, and prior to that, SVP of Technology at Convergys, where he played several key roles.
